Microsoft relaunched Recall (privacy-overhauled)

After being delayed and re-architected following the May 2024 security backlash, Recall returned to Copilot+ PCs as an opt-in preview with on-device encryption, Windows Hello gating, and exclusion controls for sensitive apps.
