AI for families — the foundations

Five short lessons. ~50 minutes total. Built so a non-tech family member finishes feeling calm and equipped, not overwhelmed.

If AI showed up and you've felt a step behind your kids, your relatives, or the news — start here. Five lessons, in the order I'd walk a friend through them. Stop any time, pick up later.

What you'll come away with

  • Explain what AI is without sounding like a robot
  • Spot the most common AI scam aimed at older relatives
  • Set up a family safe-word in two minutes
  • Have one short conversation with your kid about AI homework
  • Know when AI is doing too much of the work
